LONDON, England – Princess Cruises has announced its full cruise and cruisetours listings for 2014 including the introduction of brand new Royal-class ship, the Regal Princess.

Princess Cruises now sails to over 120 destinations, offering 94 departures on 48 itineraries. The new arrival – Regal Princess – joins the Royal Princess to take the fleet up to 18 ships. These two luxury liners will take their inaugural voyages on two of the most popular European routes.

Regal Princess will sail on a series of 12-day Mediterranean cruises, starting spring 2014. The route will take the 3,600-passenger ship from Venice to Barcelona. Its revolutionary design includes a glass-enclosed walkway that extends 28 feet over the ship’s edge and a grand new atrium called the Piazza. This marble swathed hub will be a central feature for dining and entertainment.

There is also an adults-only pool with private bookable cabanas and all outside cabins will have their own balconies. This means that 80 per cent of the ship’s rooms will have al fresco space.

The Royal Princess – which will begin her life sailing around the Mediterranean in June 2013. A new on-board entertainment venture, ‘Princess Live!’ will be available on board. This intimate space caters for 280 passengers and doubles as a television studio. There will be a huge provision of programs ranging from game shows to art house films, cooking demos to murder mystery and trivia games.

A seafood restaurant, Ocean Terrace, will serve sushi and caviar plus treats from the latest culinary trend, ceviche. The Ocean Terrace joins an Italian-themed cocktail lounge, an International Cafe, a stone-baked pizzeria and the Royal’s flagship restaurant, Sabatini’s.
